Current Show Team
Our “Current” Show team is select and we choose; as professionals; to limit our show team to a few strong dogs.
For too long the Chihuahua has been known by judges, stewards, and other exhibitors as a large numbered breed with owners having multiple dogs, “un-organised”, and “An older persons breed”. This mould is breaking with many minds changing through out Australia, people are starting to see some beautiful dogs.
We feel that the breed, though they are small in stature should not consist of many dogs, but a select team with great personalities to represent our beautiful breed as they should.
At Voncronan we aim to be able to compete against other breeds at “All Breeds Level” and promote correct construction focussing on:

Strong fronts and sound hind quarters

“Classic” heads with correctly set eyes and ears

Muzzle moderately short, slightly pointed

Tails are sickle and flat at the base
-
Temperaments are spirited and saucy
Putting all of these characteristics together produces the correct Chihuahua, exactly what we aim for here at Voncronan.
